My Top 10 Scariest Animated Moments by ARTIST-SRF My Top 10 Scariest Animated Moments by ARTIST-SRF
These is the kind of stuff that scared the sh*t of me when I was growing up.

#10.) Gossamer (Looney Toons) Just the original Gossamer from the first cartoon he appeared with Bugs Bunny, that gave me the creeps; his claws, his roar, and seeing him in the darkest places as he pops out of nowhere. But thankfully, the comedy from Bugs Bunny and the orange monster's battle of wits drove the fear away.

#9.) Hexus (Ferngully: The Last Rainforest) Not from one of the best animated films in America, but this character was just plain creepy! The way he morphs and from a horrible blob to a cloud like monster, to a black skeleton like creature.

#8.) Colonel Beuregaurd (Scooby Doo meets the Boos Brothers) I never got scared of the original tv show, but good God, this guy gave me the creeps! I mean look at his eyes, you ever seen a real person with eyes like those? I wanted to mention Revolta and the evil Shaggy reflection from Scooby Doo and the Ghouls School, but this guy is like the creepiest SD villain I've ever seen!

#7.) The Headless Horseman (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad) I used to be afraid of him after he supposedly took Ichabod Crane out of existence, but I grew to enjoy the story of Sleepy Hollow over the years.

#6.) The Evil Queen/Old Hag (Snow White and The Seven Dwarves) You all knew what an experience that was from watching the queen change from the beautyiful villain to the old and ugly witch like monster. And if you thought that was scary, you should go on the ride at any Disney Park you go on. There's also the forest that Snow White runs through, but the hag is more scarier than that.

#5.) The Scarecrow (Batman: The Animated Series)-Just the Haulucinations he gives that gives from his fear gas that scared me as a kid growing up. Hell imagine what could happen if he sprayed you!

#4.) The Firefighting Clown (The Brave Little Toaster)- Of all the scary things that happen in the children's film, this guy is a DEMON! Thank God, I never feared clowns from that or any other evil clown growing up.

#3.) The Giant Snake (Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas)- This snake was the scariest thing I saw in that film. If it were real, I would hate to be it's dinner.

#2.) The donkey transformation scene (Pinocchio)- When I first saw it, I thought it was a horrible sight to see. Laughing Boy, was going through probably the worst transformation ever to happen in a children's movie.

#1.) Runaway Brain (Mickey Mouse)- I was in the theatre when this cartoon was showing before Disney's Hercules. My God, All I can say is from Peg Leg Pete in a parody of the Frankenstein Monster cosplay, and Mickey switching brains with him was most disturbing moment of my childhood ever!

Homorable Mentions:

Courage The Cowardly Dog

Scooby Doo 1990's movies

Hungry Hungry Donald from Mickey and the Beanstalk

Every scary bit from Rugrats

All Dogs Go To Heaven monsters

Sharp Tooth From The Land Before Time

I own nothing, not even this meme.

I agree with most of these (some I've seen, others not) but one that sits with me to this day is whenever the Beast from Beauty and the Beast grows enraged. In fact, I find the whole movie unsettling in every way - wouldn't you be creeped out just a little by talking inanimate objects?

Here were what I found scary when I was little:

Friend Owl scared me out of watching Bambi for years.

The Grand Duke of Owls scared me out of watching Rock-A-Doodle for much longer.

The way that lamp's face in The Brave Little Toaster rubbed me off the wrong way.

The one shot where Maleficent revealed herself in the fireplace scared me before the days of DVDs.

Even Judge Doom's revelation at the end scared me!

Well I was afraid of Freddy mostly.  I was trying to find something good to watch on TV when I was little, then I accidentally came across that part form part 5, where he drags a girl with stuffed cheeks into the fridge.  So in later years, he became one of my favorite slashers.

*you probally dont want to know who I was afraid of so If you dont want anything to do with this stop reading* I was afraid of Chucky. One day I went to my dad's friends house with my dad,I saw the doll and totally freaked out and hid behind a wall. Everytime we went there I would hide in the same place. *They also had tiffany but I wasn't scared of her* I never knew Chucky was comedy too.I never knew anything of chucky. I only was scared of his face (look) . I started watching Jason and Freddy, but still not Chucky. He still invaded my nightmares. ALL of my nightmares. (not just one or 5,ALL of them) Then I watched the trailer,Not so bad. So I finally watched seed of chucky first (I watched all the movies in backwords order) I laughed a bunch and couldn't wait to watch more. (An interesting fact about me is that I've never had a real happy dream. I've only have cruel, depressing, evil dreams.)

10: It wasn't really Gossamer himself that scared me as a kid, more or less the intro to one of the episodes he was in (a "Hair Raising Hare" I believe, I dunno), just the music and the frightening picture scared the bajeepers out of me.

9: I can't say he scared me since I first saw Ferngully about a year or two ago, but his skeleton form did unnerve me.

8: I only saw a little bit of that specific movie, and I didn't get far enough to see him, but I do recall that the Creeper scared me more.

7: I didn't see the cartoon as a kid, but I did read the novel in Third Grade. And boy did that scare me.

6: She didn't really scare me too much, but I kinda freaked out when she kicked that pitcher into the skeleton that was reaching for it.

5: I never really watched Batman cartoons as a kid, so I can't really say anything there.

4: I'm actually surprised that even though I saw this in the First Grade, the clown never scared me. I guess it's because I never thought much of clowns.

3: Oh yes, him. I remember that he scared me for quite a while.

2: I swear, one of these days I'm going to finally see Pinocchio...

1: I never saw that short, but I can imagine that it would scare a kid quite badly.

Some of my own personal scary nostalgic animated moments are No-Face from Spirited Away (I think the movie was fantastic, but as a little kid, I wanted the tape out of the house just because No-Face scared me so badly), Piecemeal *shudders*, and...well...www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBcQOC…

Funny story: in the mall near my house (like twenty minutes away), they have that scene (in sculpture form) on a shelf in the Disney store. If it was any other store in the mall, I would've stayed the heck away-but it's Disney. The giant flat-screen playing Disney movies in the back surrounded by mini-plushies of Disney characters made up for it., loll
